Indoor Venues
Home is one of the best place to host your children's parties no matter what age - as long as you can keep the numbers manageable for yourself, with a few well-appointed "marshals" (those supping beer on the sidelines are usually less helpful). Though with the prospect of clearing up and the potential for sugar-fuelled kids rampaging round the house, it may be less nerve-racking to book a venue instead...........
Most of our Parish and Methodist Church Halls and Community Halls will be receptive to hiring a hall for a morning or afternoon party for the kids.

Outdoor Venues
We're lucky here in Guernsey to have had a few private enterprises set up in recent years that cater really well for children, especially in the Sporting Arena. Various of these do childrens parties, such as:
Whatever you chose to do with your kids on their birthday, try to ensure that you are well-organised in advance, that the party time are clear to parents (especially those who are leaving their children under your supervision), as well as pick up and drop off points. Have a schedule of activities for the kids, which includes when they will be fed and the grand party cake entrance, so that the party doesn't lose momentum.
