Sunday 17th July 2011: FLORAL GUERNSEY SUNDAY SEAFRONT CLOSURE - St Peter Port Seafront
This Sunday is the final day of the annual Floral Festival Week and gives the Floral Guernsey Council a tremendous opportunity to stage their own family based floral fete/fayre with plant sales, floral demonstrations and children's based competitions.


Sunday 17th July 2011: THE LIVING STREETS TRANQUILLITY WALK
Meet in the car park at Vazon Bay (opposite La Grande Mare Hotel) at 2.30 p.m. A sponsored circular walk through the Ruettes Tranquilles and lanes of the Castel parish Funds will go towards maintaining the Living Streets Baubigny Schools pathway.


Sunday 17th July 2011 & Wednesday 27th July 2011: BURNT AT THE STAKE (GUERNSEY HISTORY IN ACTION COMPANY)
A Living History Event. The story of three Guernsey women accused of heresy in 1556 recorded in Foxes Book of Martyrs. You are invited to join the townspeople of St Peter Port as they follow the unfortunate women being led to their fate.

Tuesday 19th July 2011 - Sing'along in Guernsey French - "Enne Chant'rie Guernesiase" - Mother and Baby/Toddler session.  Run by Guernseymums with Cynthia Lenormand.  Early booking advisable, email: info@guernseymums.gg.  10am - 11am at St Martin's Community Centre, Saints Bay Room, Cost £5.00 includes refreshments and singalong sheet.

Entertainment with a strong musical theme throughout the town of St Peter Port, giving a great atmosphere.


Saturday 24th July 2011: SPORTS GUERNSEY SUNDAY SEAFRONT CLOSURE
An opportunity for families to learn some new sporting skills ranging from batting, bowling and throwing cricket based challenges.


Saturday 30th - Sunday 31st July 2011: Torteval Scarecrow Festival

This event is getting more and more popular every year and is a great event for all of the family. Wander through a beautiful area of the south west of Guernsey and spot your favourite scarecrow, which come in all shapes and sizes, anytime between 10am to 6pm on both days. www.torteval-scarecrows.org

Farmers Markets

9am - 12pm St Martins Parish Hall during cold months and Saumarez Manor in the warmer months.

Selling a wide range of locally made produce, plants and vegetables, fish, meat and handicrafts. Special ‘themed’ markets occasionally. Contact 235571.

Conducted by the Seigneur at Sausmarez Manor, St Martin's.  Arguably one of the most haunted houses in Britain today.  Very popular - for groups of 6 - 25 people - bespoke times can be arranged.  Please call 235571.
